Frequently asked questions

I’ve noticed in some of your designs, there are DMC colours I’ve never heard of (such as 2 Tin) are these corrrect?

Yes, DMC launched an additional 35 colours to add to their vast range in Feb 2018. They’re a lovely and much needed (in my opinion) addition to their range and definitely worth using.

Some of your more complex designs include a thread length chart. The total column for the amount of thread required is just a number - what units is this measurement in?

It’s in metres. For some reason, my stitch program gives the measurement unit in the Length column but not in the Total column - so if a colour in your design is listed as needing 3.5 - it’s 3.5 Metres of thread. A standard DMC skein has 8m of thread on it.
